Användningsfall

Backend-utvecklare sätter korrekta säkerhetsheaders (CSP, HSTS, X-Frame-Options) före driftsättning. Frontend-utvecklare felsöker CORS-problem med Access-Control-headers. Studenter som lär sig HTTP använder referensen för att förstå hur protokollet fungerar.

Vanliga frågor

  • Vad är skillnaden mellan request- och response-headers?Request-headers skickas av klienten för att ge sammanhang (accepterade typer, autentisering). Response-headers skickas av servern med metadata om svaret (content type, cachning, säkerhet).
  • Vilka headers bör alla webbplatser lägga till för säkerhet?Som minimum: Strict-Transport-Security, Content-Security-Policy, X-Content-Type-Options och X-Frame-Options på alla svar.
